Quality management is one of the great priorities of our company. Apart from standard measuring techniques, we use a modern, 7-axle measuring arm in our examinations lab, which enables us to make measurements in a 2,4-meter diameter sphere. Measurement is done by contact or laser scanning, resulting in a digitalized 3D surface comparable to the original CAD formats. Deviations can be reported, whereas the arm’s reverse engineering software makes it possible to create as-built documentation.

Welding seams are checked by magnetic particle inspection, which detects both surface and near-surface damages and faults.

Depending on the surface and the future usage of the controlled part, black-and-white or florescent powders can be used. Measuring processes are controlled by a trained technician.
